Brad Perry of King's Hobby demonstarted some nice painting and weathering techniques.      

Modeling Teams for Club Contest


It is down to the last few months before the August T-34 Model 1941 Team Build Contest. The fifith and final phase of the T-34 Model 1941 team build contest has been completed.  Each of the four teams should have built the model, done the track assembly, Painted and Faded the model, weathering, as well as completing a base for the model to sit on.

Club Show Theme

Theme: The C.B.I. - Pacific Theatre 1931 - 1945

The AMPS South Central Region show (AMPSCENTEX 2005) theme has been choosen! The theme will be "The C.B.I. (China, Burma, India) - Pacific Theatre 1931 - 1945".  This will include everything begining from 1931 in Manchuria through 1945. 

The show will be held October 28-29, 2005 at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas.


Raffle Winner


This month  Mike Cunningham won the raffle again.  He took home a Tamiya Willy's Jeep MB with trailer.  Once again, the Raffle Prizes were provided by Tery D. Lowman.
