As soon as Don Jones had set up his camera and tripod a queue of members with models in hand were waiting for Don to take pictures of their work.  Don did a great job.  Here are a few photographs of some of the models Don photographed:


Modeling Teams for Club Contest


The first phase of the T-34 Model 1941 team build contest has been completed.  Each of the four teams have built the model.  Each team's kit builder has passed the model off to the member building the Track Assembly.  The team member responsible for Track Assembly will bring back the kit at the March meeting to handoff to the next team member (Paint/Fading).

Club Show Theme

The AMPS South Central Region show (AMPSCENTEX 2005) theme has been choosen! The theme will be "The C.B.I. (China, Burma, India) - Pacific Theatre 1931 - 1945".  This will include everything begining from 1931 in Manchuria through 1945. 

The show will be held October 28-29, 2005 at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas.


AMPS International

The next AMPS International Convention is April 15-16, 2005 at Harve de Grace, Maryland.


Raffle Winner
This month's raffle winner was Dave Bourland. He took home a 1/35th scale American M106A1 kit from Tamiya (Kit No: 35116). Raffle Prize provided by Tery D. Lowman.
