    • Modeling Teams for Club Contest
    At the January 5, 2005 Austin Armor Builders Society meeting we will set up modeling teams for the future club contests.  Each team will consist of 5 members and will be provided with the Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 model kit (Kit No: 6205). 




    Club Show Theme
    The AMPSCENTEX 2005 Show theme has been choosen! The theme will be "The C.B.I. (China, Burma, India) - Pacific Theatre 1931 - 1945". The show will be held in October 28-29, 2005 at Camp Mabry.

    Modern Armor Contest Winners
    We held another club contest. This time it was Modern Armor (1946 and onwards).  The winners are:

  • 1st Place - M41 Walker Bulldog by David Edgerly: $20.00 Gift Certificate


  • 2nd Place - Swedish S Tank by Jorge Aduna: $15.00 Gift Certificate


  • 3rd Place - Australian M113 Fire Support Vehicle by Richard Eaton: $10.00 Gift Certificate



    Gift Certificates provided by Village Hobby Shop.

    • Club Dues
    Annual Dues are due each September. At last count only 11 of the 48 members have renewed their membership. Please pay Rick Herrington $12.00 to continue your membership and continue receiving the Sabot Away! Newsletter.
