The show will be held October 28-29, 2005 at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas.

AMPS International

Theme: Best Recce Vehicle

The next AMPS International Convention is April 15-16, 2005 at Harve de Grace, Maryland.    Theme entries must represent a vehicle that was primarily used for reconnaissance or is marked as belonging to a reconnaissance unit.  Every year, people come from all over the world to the AMPS Annual Convention to experience what most consider the ultimate in armor modeling and history.

AMPS has been hosting annual conventions every year, usually during the third weekend of April, since 1995. Each convention includes interesting and educational seminars presented by some of the leaders in the armor modeling field, tables and tables of vendors selling kits, accessories and conversions specially oriented to armor modelers and historians, and the renowned AMPS modeling contest. The convention is always held near a site of historical interest to armor modelers.
