Meeting Highlights


We had 14 modelers attend the December 2006 Austin Armor Builders Society meeting. Thank you for all coming to the meeting. Please be sure you have paid up your membership dues. Thank you to everyone who brought in their work for us to see.

Tom Terry brought in two of his projects. They are his Tamiya M60A3 and his Tamiya M41A1 Walker Bulldog. Tom wrote an excellent build article on the M41 and it appears in the December 2006 Sabot Away! Newsletter.

Annual Christmas Gathering


We had a wonderful time at Scholz Beer Garten (13-Dec-2006) for the club's annual Christmas Gathering. It was a lot of fun getting togehter and having a few beers and talking models. All had a good time.

    AMPS International

    The next AMPS International Convention is April 19-21, 2007 at the Community Center in Havre de Grace, Maryland.

    This months kit winner was Patrick Rourke. Patrick won the Dragon 1/35th M2A1 Half-Track (Kit No: 6329). Roderick Bell donated the kit. Patrick Rourke will be responsible to donate the kit for our January meeting.
